Automotive company is seeking CCO/director de Planta
Functions:
Define the company's overall vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities in the automotive
Lead and oversee the execution of the strategic plan, ensuring the achievement of commercial, operational, financial, and technological innovation goals.
Provide direct leadership to key functional areas, including Operations, Materials, Tooling, Business Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Customer Service, ensuring aligned and results-driven management.
Represent the company before key customers, government agencies, investors, and industry associations in both the automotive.
Foster a strong organizational culture, leadership development, and effective communication across all departments, promoting a workplace environment focused on quality, safety, continuous improvement, as well as employees' mental health and well-being in accordance with mexican regulations.
Ensure compliance with international standards and industry regulation
Evaluate opportunities for commercial growth and new business development, both nationally and internationally. Based on the internal procedures and processes of the new business development and customer service department.
Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring the availability of raw materials, molds, and equipment with optimal quality and cost.
Ensure the company’s profitability and long-term sustainability, leading key financial decisions in coordination with the CFO, CEO and the board of directors.
Requirements
Must haves
Advanced English
Plastic injection molding processes (parameters, quality control, cycle efficiency)
Automation of production cells, robotics, extraction and feeding systems
Installed capacity planning and line balancing.
APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
Root cause analysis (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).
Internal and customer audits.
Material planning (MRP), inventory control.
Product and process costing (standard vs. actual costs).
Evaluation of investments in machinery and automation (CAPEX).
Operational profitability analysis and efficiency per production unit.
Machine availability control (OEE).
New product launches and production ramp-up.
Cross-functional coordination with engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
On-time delivery (OTD), shipment date compliance.
Customer complaint handling and feedback management.
Mexican regulations
Occupational safety and compliance with STPS regulations.
