Reporting to the Commercial Director in Spain, your main responsibilities will be to develop Sales in the U.S. and Canada. Functions: • The main responsibility for the position will be to draw and implement the growth strategy of the Rolling Paper Business Unit, while achieving/exceeding sales, orders, and profit targets for the U.S. as a priority and further the Canadian Market. • Define, develop, and coordinate the marketing strategy of the brands, with two main goals; growing distribution (with the collaboration of the distributors) and increasing brand awareness to increase product rotation at the POS. • Maintain, protect, and proactively grow the brand's volume of sales in collaboration with the existing distribution network and customers through regular visits, meetings, participation in trade events, and other contacts. • Collect the relevant market information (i.e. prices, key players for distribution and competitors’ strategy, tobacco and alternative channel) and design own marketing plans. • Develop a yearly strategic and operational sales and trade marketing action plan for both markets. • Identify target accounts and/or opportunities to establish specific action plans to maximize the volume of business. • Collaborate with the network, manage, and lead contract negotiations. • Maintain effective reporting, sales, and marketing budget control. The candidate must have: • University degree or equivalent professional experience. • Proven sales experience of 5 years minimum in the US and in the consumer goods industry (Rolling Paper preferred), in relation with convenience/traditional channel and imports/distribution networks. • The candidates should have a high level of knowledge regarding distribution channels for the category of rolling papers and/or cannabis (in those States where the product is legal), retail chains, and small wholesalers. • Proven track record of business development, trade, and consumer marketing. • Proactivity, initiative, and perseverance. • Highly flexible, methodical, organized, and effective time management skills. • Goal Oriented and focused on key points, plus the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally to build strong relationships. • Good negotiation skills. • Ambitious, resilient and self motivated. • Good interpersonal skills and ability to succeed in working with a high degree of autonomy. • Good networking and relationship management skills. • Driving license and own car.
