This is a newly created position due to growth and forms part of the Sales department. The Key Account Manager reports into the Country Manager in Japan and works closely together with him, as well as with colleagues at Sales, Marketing, Quality, Commercial Finance, Customer Service and Demand Planning for the alignment of activities/execution of agreements based at HQ in Oudenhoorn, the Netherlands.
The objective is to realise commercial goals (turnover, profit, marketshare) for key accounts and wholesale by helping develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy.
You will:
Initiate marketing and commercial campaigns based upon commercial opportunities in the market;
Take care of – customer-driven – negotiations and draw up offers, based on profitability and price indications;
Maintain and use (local) networks, trade fairs, and presentations to generate and perpetuate business;
Ensure that business relations promote Farm Frites products to their customers, raising Farm Frites’ profile;
Prepare account plans and worksout (makes preparations for) the pricing strategy in collaboration with Commercial Finance.
You have:
B2B sales experience in consumer goods, preferably the food (related) industry on the Japanese market;
Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally;
A self-starter, automotivated and team player;
Fluent in Japanese and English.
