FONCTIONS

Mission: The M&A Manager works at the Corporate Head Offices located in Luxembourg. A self-driven, highly collaborative international M&A professional, he/she delivers value to the overall Business through managing identifying potential targets of interest according to the growth objectives, organize the M&A process for the cross functional team and ensuring success of closing for a valuable integration phase. Key areas of responsibilities 1. Identify worldwide markets , industries , geographies segments and technologies that will enable the company to grow faster, diversify itself and develop new competences or business opportunities 2. Support market research including macro-economic and competitive analysis 3. Assist with modelling and financial analysis of impending transactions (based on strategic fit analysis) 4. Plan and provide support for due diligence activities across all functional areas of the transaction ( sales and marketing, operations, technology, financial) 5. Actively partner with the Finance and Legal departments to ensure that proper protocols and processes are followed 6. Work hand-in-hand with regional V.P.s and local leadership in delivering well communicated and comprehensive analyses for each stage of merger and acquisition processes for executives and key stakeholders; 7. Directly follow potential M&A targets assigned to him/her throughout the various stages. 8. Support the Chief Strategic Development Officer and Business VP / General manager in charge of the integration phase to structure the integration plan, identify monitoring KPIS and ensure that expected performances ( as planned before signing) will be actually delivered , with a strong focus on short and long term financial results Requirements: - Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Administration, Finance or economics - At least 1 prior experience in a business or operational financial role - Proven 3 to 5 years of relevant experience participating in M&A activities, either in an M&A corporate team of an international, ideally Manufacturing B2B, type of company; or in a consultancy role in a private equity environment active in growth and integration activities - Strong project management skills and interest - Results & Delivery oriented - Curious, fast learner, open minded to cultural differences typical in international environments and M&A relationships - Proactive self- driven & autonomous professional, resilient to high pressure typical M&A environment but able to adopt the adequate leadership posture throughout the various phases of the project - Languages – Fluent English, other languages are valued. - Position is based in Luxembourg next to the Corporate Executive Team and CEO. Based on specific M&A projects, 25% travel may be required on a regular, usually short notice basis.
