FONCTIONS

Directly reporting to Mexico’s General Manager, we are looking for a Head of Operations / COO to join the team in Mexico of our client, a global company in the Feed distribution business in Mexico, which is part of a leading multinational Group leader in Nutritional ingredients' distribution for the Feed & Food industries. In Mexico, the company established a few years ago with the Feed business, and is now in a phase of consolidation and growth of operations, by opening new business lines such as the Food business. Therefore, one of the main challenges of the COO, will be to establish proper structures and operational processes that will support the future growth of the company in Mexico. The main functions will be: - Support the General Manager in strategic tasks and turning these into efficient operational processes. Likewise, the COO will be responsible for the daily execution within these processes. o In this, the COO will be the General Manager's right-hand, and the COO will supervise, coordinate and overview the daily operations of the company's administrative departments. o The COO will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes, taking advantage of the international knowledge, economic resources, facilities and operations of the Group, in order to develop the future growth of the companies in Mexico. o The COO will be responsible for coordinating a proper ongoing work plan among its different departments (logistics, supply chain, finances, etc.) o The COO will act as a liaison in the company and is responsible for ensuring that the transversality between teams works. o The COO will be responsible for monitoring and support that the Company follows and complies to the financial requirements and regulations in Mexico. - Finally, the COO and the General Manager in collaboration will ensure a welcoming, dedicated and sincere working environment in line with the Group. We are looking for an ambitious and aspiring candidate who wants to take a high responsability role and be a fundamental part of the future growth of the company in Mexico.
