FUNKTIONEN

We are looking for a Controller for our operation in Romania based in Bucharest. The successful candidate will be in charge of the business, financial and industrial supervision of our activity in the Country, and will ensure coordination with the Administration team based in our SSC in Spain. He/she will have to ensure the proper control and the accomplishment of our Business Plan. The successful candidate will report to the CEO of the Company and be dotted line to the Finance Manager of the Division. Duties: ▪ Industrial controlling a. Execute & coordinate monthly closing of the plant. b. Implement analytical procedures at closing to understand deviations and tackle areas of improvement. c. Lead yearly budget procedure for the plant. Continuous follow-up of it and understanding of the deviations. d. Asist plan manager in the follow-up of improvement plans and investments. e. Supervise the Production Reporting & teach the industrial team involved. f. Review and supervise main flows of the plant activity. g. Review the appropriate closing and control of the stocks in the plant. h. Follow-up of main industrial KPI’s to anticipate any significant impacts. i. Proactive searching of initiatives to reach cost savings. j. Direct implication in the industrial activity with the aim to identify areas of improvement and eventual issues. k. Supervision of daily transactional related to the plant (invoice and BoL true-up, price challenge w/suppliers, etc.). ▪ Financial controlling a. Coordination of reporting w/ SSC & Corporate Controlling. b. Coordination of ad-hoc & periodical reporting (weekly, off-accounting reports, etc.). c. Analysis & understanding of monthly Financial Statements of the Company. d. Understanding of the performance of all the items in the P&L and Balance sheet of the Company. e. Working Capital monitoring: f. Credit Management & payment collections (supervision) g. Stock supervision including valuation, physical inventory, appropriate levels of raw materials, intermediate and finished goods. h. Coordination w/ external advisors (Tax & Payroll) i. Coordination of internal & external audit engagements. j. Proactive searching of any initiatives to reach cost savings. k. Proactive challenge of main agreements with suppliers and creditors in look for cost savings. l. Application and maintenance of the Standard Controlling model and understanding deviations standard vs actual expenses (industrial costs, logistics, etc.). m. Coordination of the Forecasting and Budgeting processes. Continuous follow-up to ensure accomplishment at all levels. ▪ Business controlling a. Preparation, follow-up and analysis of main KPI’s related to the business evolution to ensure Budget & Business plan guidelines accomplishment. b. Maintenance of BI & Salesforce tools to ensure appropriate information. c. Active part of the Pricing calculations to prevent future issues d. Periodical studies and profitability analysis Profile ▪ Academic: Business Administration or Economics degree ▪ Professional experience: minimum of 4 years in audit (Big four is a must). Any additional experience as Controller (industrial sector) will be a plus. ▪ Knowledge: Excel advanced user, AS400 (Oracle), Tableau, Salesforce ▪ Language: Romanian, Advanced English compulsory (FCE, ACE), Spanish (will be a plus). ▪ Other skills: commitment, strong analytical and communication skills, eager, ambitious, business oriented, team work oriented and cooperative, proactive.
