Main Activities:
Supports the Marketing development efforts, including:
-In collaboration with China Sales team (online and offline), research and gather information in FMCG business sectors in order to best define opportunities and market developments
-Manage marketing and designer teams, and external advertising agencies for new products developments, communications and advertising.
-In collaboration with Digital Manager, build a strong social media strategy according to 360 marketing plan, communication guidelines and product launch plan, in order to develop and engage communities in support of business goals;
-Collaborate with technical project managers in charge to define the technical file of the new product and launch the production
-Provide assistance to the China sales team as well as to the China Sales Manager to build selling prices, assortments, targets, forecasts, yearly promotional plan, etc.
-Establish a monthly forecast for each new product in close contact with Sales and Supply Chain teams
-Uses of all the corporates tools available for the proper follow up of sales activities. Weekly reporting to China Managing Director and regular reporting to International Marketing Director.
-Design comprehensive strategic marketing plans for the company (yearly & 3 years plans)
-Develop detailed programs and initiatives to assist brand development, particularly at the national and China level (Promotions, In store advertisement, etc.)
-Monitor the performance of each product lines against budget in the territory, revise plans where necessary to correct underperformance (or over performance) within agreed budgets
Competence requirements:
-Education background: University degree required. Major in Marketing or Business.
-Work experience: 3 to 5 years in marketing position
Professional skills:
-Excellent oral and written communication skills (Chinese & English) with strong presentation and planning ability
-French is highly appreciated
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office. SAP or ERP system knowledge is highly appreciated
-Research and reporting skills
-Self-motivated, well-organized, able to work well in an international environment
-Demonstrate ability to meet and/or exceed deadlines required (time to market performance)
-Good knowledge and understanding about Chinese market (traditional market, modern trade and e-commerce)
-Have understanding of JD and Alibaba marketing ecosystem and know well about the trendy JD & Alibaba marketing approaches, like live-streaming, seeding, fans operation, etc. And have a successful case to demonstrate the experience
-Ability to balance between a robust analytical capability and strong relationship skills
