HR Generalist

An international company undergoing transformation and expansion in its European operations is seeking an experienced HR Generalist. This is a key role partnering with senior leadership, offering exposure to complex multi-jurisdictional HR issues and the opportunity to shape strategic initiatives at regional scale. The successful candidate will act as an internal advisor on European employment law and contribute to cross-border HR optimization. Key Responsibilities Advise senior leaders on complex employee relations across European locations Navigate multi-country HR cases: performance, exits, absence, grievances, redundancies Serve as subject-matter expert in European employment law, liaising with external counsel Improve operational HR processes for efficiency and compliance Implement compliant HR policies across multiple jurisdictions Deliver data-driven insights supporting engagement, performance, and compliance Prepare dashboards and reports on employee relations metrics and HR effectiveness Ideal Profile Proven experience managing European employee relations in multi-country environments Strong command of European labor law and EU directives Background in HR operations and process improvement Analytical mindset with fluency in HR data High-impact communicator with relationship-building skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, international settings Professional services or financial services experience a plus Qualification in employment law or CIPD desirable Fluent English required; other European languages a plus
