FONCTIONS
The Managing Director will be responsible for establishing and executing the company's global strategy, ensuring operational and financial success of the projects, and reporting directly to the fund.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy and Leadership:
• Develop and execute the company's growth and expansion strategy.
• Set clear goals and objectives for the team and ensure their achievement.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the management team.
2. Business Development:
• Identify investment opportunities in solar photovoltaic projects in different countries.
• Evaluate the financial and technical feasibility of proposed projects.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with key partners, suppliers, and clients.
3. Operational Management:
• Oversee and coordinate the development, construction, and operation activities of solar projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Implement best project management practices and control costs and timelines.
4. Investor Relations:
• Maintain close communication and regular reporting to the fund.
• Present financial and operational reports to investors.
• Manage investor relationships and ensure their satisfaction.
5. Team Management:
• Build and lead a highly effective team -
• Identify and hire key talent to meet the operational needs of the company.
• Establish a positive and motivating work environment.
Requirements:
• Engineering Degree qualified or Degree in Business Administration and Management or similar.
• Previous experience as a Managing Director or in a senior leadership position within the energy sector, preferably in solar photovoltaic project development.
• Extensive experience in project management and operations in the energy sector.
• Strong financial skills and ability to interpret and analyze financial reports.
• Solid knowledge of international energy markets and local regulations.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with partners and clients.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Results-oriented mindset and ability to make strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Spanish and proficiency in other relevant languages (Italian, Portuguese) is a plus.
