FUNKTIONEN

As part of their development and growth, we are looking for an experienced Lead Buyer. You will be responsible for leading sourcing and supplier management in TPM buying across the core categories. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, commercial and cross-functional experience, who is looking to progress in a new and developing Category that has ambitious plans that are part of the overall company’s future plans of significant and positive change. As part of a TPM procurement team, and reporting to the Head/Manager TPM category, you will work in close collaboration with key stakeholders to become a key business partner for the respective Marketing Category team. As key responsibilities, we can highlight the following: • Market intelligence to identify and share expectations of price, availability, and supply base developments for spend in scope • Identifies and manages sourcing projects along strategic sourcing process. • Proposing sourcing strategy for material groups in scope to optimize cost vs. value vs. risks. Recommend negotiations scenarios and tactics. • Execute sourcing (RFx, benchmarking, negotiation, contract) • Liaise with marketing (Categories) for effective supplier-innovation/NPD • Liaise with quality for effective supplier approval/QA • Supplier Scouting and Sourcing Innovation for Category • Supplier relationship management and dispute settlement. • Develop and maintain supplier scorecard and oversee supplier performance and liaise with R&D, SC functions for supplier business & performance reviews. • Implementation of (group) contracts and terms and supplier approval process • Propose price guidance for material group budgets • Support buyers in regional negotiations • Report savings for sourcing projects • Improve and provided added value from sustainability (Ecovadis, SAI, Organic sourcing). Our ideal candidate will have: • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. • Excellent negotiation skills • Resilient with positive attitude towards change • Results driven (do-er), practical thinking, • Entrepreneurial; self-starter, ability to take initiative • Ability to work Individually but as part of a team • Strong communication and presentation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders • Strong project management skills • Flexible and availability to travel • Comfortable with conflict, challenge and passion for reducing cost • Experience in implementation contract management • Strong Track record in strategic sourcing, in particular market analysis, sourcing strategy, RFx, negotiation, supplier relationship management. • Knowledge about related product portfolio in FMCG • Food experience and/or extensive knowledge and experience in buying the respective category • Proficient in English.
