Catenon takes part in the German Chamber's 2026 campaign: Germany and Spain, an alliance driving business competitiveness

Cooperation between Germany and Spain represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the European business landscape and address the challenges posed by an increasingly demanding economic environment. Innovation, technological transformation and access to specialised talent are some of the key factors in building more competitive and resilient businesses.
In this context, the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain (AHK Spanien) is launching its 2026 campaign under the slogan “Germany and Spain: The Alliance That Drives Us Forward”. The initiative brings together eleven business leaders from member companies to share their perspectives on the future of business relations between the two countries.Catenon has taken part in this initiative, represented by Martin J. Beck, Managing Director of Catenon German Desk, who has shared his insights into the role of talent and leadership in strengthening Spanish-German cooperation, drawing on the company's more than 20 years of experience connecting both markets.
Two Complementary Business Cultures
During his contribution, Martin Beck highlights the value of the complementarity between German and Spanish business cultures. While Germany brings planning, structure and a long-term vision, Spain stands out for its agility, flexibility and adaptability.Combining these strengths creates significant opportunities for businesses in both countries, particularly in an environment shaped by technological transformation, new regulatory requirements, cost pressures and the need to respond swiftly to market changes.However, making the most of these opportunities requires more than investment and technology. It also calls for skilled professionals and leaders capable of driving transformation, connecting teams and developing new business models.
