In this full-time, hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our product packaging, a critical step in delivering exceptional dermatological solutions to their global customers.
You will be responsible for upholding the highest quality standards throughout the packaging process, from material inspection to final product release. • Perform comprehensive quality inspections of packaging materials (primary and secondary) upon receipt, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor and inspect packaging lines during production to verify adherence to established procedures, including labeling, batch coding, and assembly.
• Conduct in-process checks and final inspections of packaged products, identifying and documenting any deviations or non-conformities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspection activities, test results, and quality data.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to address packaging-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the investigation of packaging defects and customer complaints, contributing to root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Participate in the development and revision of packaging specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control plans.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Operate and maintain quality control testing equipment for packaging materials and finished products.
• Provide training and guidance to production personnel on packaging quality standards and best practices.
Must-Haves:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience at least 5 years in Quality Control within the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or food industry, specifically with packaging materials and processes.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and relevant quality regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (C1).
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and documentation.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement tools.
• Familiarity with various packaging equipment and technologies.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a significant plus.
• Prior experience in a hybrid work setting.
