FONCTIONS

We are currently recruiting an Employee & Labor Relations Manager. Reporting to the HR Director, your mission will be to lead and manage the company’s labor relations agenda in a complex, matrixed environment. You will be the key liaison between the company and its social partners (unions and employee representatives), ensuring that all negotiations and labor strategies align with both legal obligations and the broader HR and business strategy. As key responsibilities we can highlight the following: - Lead the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), maintaining a balance between company objectives and positive labor relations. - Act as the primary contact with unions and employee representatives, fostering constructive and trust-based relationships. - Provide expert guidance on labor law compliance, collective disputes, and the interpretation and application of agreements. - Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and senior management to ensure labor strategy supports business needs and cultural values. - Support or lead specific HR transformation projects, particularly those with workforce or labor implications (e.g., restructuring, reskilling initiatives). - Manage and advise on conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance management, ensuring procedural fairness. - Monitor labor-related risks and trends in the market and proactively adjust strategy as needed. - Ensure internal alignment of HR policies and labor agreements within a matrix environment, working cross-functionally across multiple geographies. - Contribute to internal communications on labor issues, ensuring transparency and alignment across stakeholders Our ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field. A Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is a plus. - Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in labor/employee relations within multinational, matrix organizations. - Demonstrated experience in collective bargaining, union negotiations, and labor strategy design. - Strong knowledge of local labor laws and collective labor systems. - Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations with diplomacy and fairness. - Business-oriented mindset with the ability to align labor strategy with broader HR and corporate objectives. - Experience in change management and cross-functional project work within HR. - English: advanced level (min C1) - Resilient, pragmatic, and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to lead with both rigor and empathy.
