FONCTIONS

Reporting to the group Sales and Marketing Director, the Sales Director Pharma Life Sciences/OEM is in charge of structuring the group approach towards the Pharma and Life Sciences market. He/she also oversees a portfolio of strategic customers: mainly big OEM accounts. The Sales Director Pharma Life Sciences/OEM is in charge of the group relationship with these customers and markets: maintaining the commercial and technical relationship, optimizing the current businesses (prices, margins, …), leveraging on these to get some new ones starting (new areas, new products, new affiliates, …). He/she is also responsible for building the strategy and planning for short, mid and long term presence of the company on the pharmaceutical packaging industry, while ensuring the consistency with group marketing and sales strategy (in terms of product development, of pricing policy, …) The Sales Director Pharma Life Sciences/OEM is a team player who can interface at all levels within the organization and who can operate successfully in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment. True interface with technical services, with sales managers in the regions, with the production teams around the globe as well as marketing, he/she brings real added value in the construction and optimization of trade agreements to interlocutors. The company's pharma and life sciences department is brand new, and it needs to be built. This business unit director will be in charge of business development, as well as making product development proposals to marketing and R&D, to dig out new opportunities with the existing product portfolio as well as create a new one. Recruitment will also be a strong task to take over, when time will come to build a sales team (short to mid term). Director’s targets: - Optimize sales on existing accounts, margin on existing products - Make sure that products of the groups are promoted using group sales support possibilities (training sessions, …) and leveraging on a dense knowledge of the account internal network - In order to generate new businesses – the qualification of group’s products by these customers, with strong focus on high value-added products. - Liaise with group manufacturing plants to ensure optimizing service of its accounts - Structure the Pharma accounts approach by: understanding the market (size), understanding the customers (products specificities), promoting business opportunities in the group manufacturing sites and help project go live. On the longer term the question of the sales organisation for this market will be tackled. Profile : - Experience 10 years, with a double approach Pharma + OEM (solution maker, lot of relations with customers as a project leader) - An entrepreneur and team player - Real curiosity for Pharma or packaging - Enthusiastic for this new portfolio to be entirely developed - Daring and taking on the challenge
