Mission of the role: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies as defined by sales management and achieving business objectives. Your main goal will be to hunt new clients. For this purpose, you must identify market trends, potential customers and ensure that quotations are presented to customers in a timely manner, as well as within market standards. Must be knowledgeable, not only of the company's products, but be informed of competitor's offerings. Applies appropriate skills and techniques to create consistency in sales performance. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with customers and potential customers. You must record your progress and information obtained in the CRM of use and work closely with your peers in the other regions. Tasks and responsibilities: - Hunting, identify and develop new business, generating new sales. - Consolidate existing clients, ensuring their continuity, and expanding the business with them. - Identify new market trends or, together with the client, create new trends to expand the scope of the services we provide. - To know in depth the activities of the clients and their structure, and thus guarantee that the services offered are adequate to their needs. - Comply with the strategies, goals and objectives of the Sales Department. - Generate reports that include the status of new accounts, existing accounts, potential customers, profits, special orders, in order to give the correct follow-up to the objectives established by management. If not, make necessary adjustments to sales plans and/or strategies. - Keep customer and company information secure and confidential, avoiding disclosure of important customer and/or company information. - Travel to other cities if necessary. Promote and generate new contracts or maintain contractual relationships with existing customers. Profile, background and skills: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or physical/life sciences. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales, marketing, commercial operations and/or business development capacity. - Action oriented and results driven - moves quickly and with purpose and has relevant experience in a B2B, consultative sales environment. Client orientation. - Proven track record in marketing, business development and / or practice management, preferably within the life sciences industry. - Excellent relationship development and persuasive skills at all levels of the organization. Team-player - Excellent problem-solving skills, using creativity and strategic thinking. - Flexibility, adaptability and autonomy. - Multiculturalism, ability and predisposition to adapt to different cultures. - Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities. - Versed in Salesforce or other CRM based tools. - Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel). - Bilingual in English - Desirable: Fluent in Spanish - Desirable: Experience in the pharma/ life sciences/ healthcare industries or in the logistics sector Benefits: - Home office 1,5 days per week - Health and group Insurance - Company Car - Meal Voucher - Eco Voucher - Competitive fixed salary and variable 20% for achievement of objectives
