The Logistic Director ensures that the regional Distribution network (Warehousing & Transportation) is developed and implemented in close link with business strategy, markets trends and key Customers’ requirements, to deliver the best in class service and cost standards and to provide a strong competitive edge to the company. • To oversee Warehousing and Distribution operations including Order preparation, Inventory management, Value added services (Customizing, Co-packing, Rework, …), Inbound & Outbound transportation and Import and Export custom clearance operations and insuring full integrity and compliancy at any time of distribution operations with applicable Legislation and Authorities requirements and internal Company policy and management rules. • To drive Warehousing & Distribution operations, with full responsibility on internal teams or 3rd Party Logistics management and closely interact with all internal and external parties (Regional Supply Chain leaders, Business teams, Warehousing operators, Transportation and Freight forwarder agencies, Custom authorities, ...) to reach the highest standard in terms of timely, cost effective and flawless service to our key Customers. • To manage multi-sites European Logistic team with a strong focus on teams and resources development through identifying the strengths and opportunities of direct or indirect reporting lines. • To be responsible for Direct and Indirect Distribution cost monitoring (Distribution, Freight in and Freight out spends) at regional level as well as Budget establishment, with close Risks & Opps review and keeping total Distribution costs under control. • To pro-actively contribute to Distribution strategic discussions with a deep and comprehensive knowledge of best-in-class supply chains practices within the Consumer Goods industry and ability to identify areas of improvement within the Supply Chain organization • To lead the continuous improvement and new developments of our distribution network through transformation program monitoring, as well as strategic relationship, negotiation and contract management with external partners (3PL, Supplier or Customer) • To act as an expert in distribution innovations, concepts and technologies, to understand the industry best practices, to evaluate FMCG market trends, to continuously monitor market development and to transfer your knowledge into concept creation and influence strategic decision-making within the Group. Requirements: • 15+ years of experience in international Consumer Goods Supply Chain and Distribution in fast-paced environment • Proven experiences in complex and multi-sites supply chains organization design and set-up, as well as Logistics operations relocation initiatives • Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written); French would be a plus • Strong knowledge in ERP (SAP / JD Edwards) and in MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required • Academic background with Master’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Operations and/or Business Management • Additional advanced degrees and certifications in Supply Chain; Project management, APICS, CIPS, Lean Six Sigma, is a plus
