The Marketing Finance Assistant will join our Finance department in an international, dynamic, and fast-changing environment. The candidate needs to be able to work autonomously, with flexibility and a strong focus on quality and delivery.
This role will support in the monitoring and controlling of distributor marketing spending on one of their top brands. The candidate will work closely with the wider finance team, as well as the Commercial and Trade
Marketing departments.
Reviewing all Marketing invoices and supporting documents submitted by our distributors. Ensuring
information provided is accurate and complete, and liaising with the distributors to resolve any outstanding
issues.
Support the marketing invoice approval process by monitoring open items and assisting the Sales & Trade
Marketing by approving them.
Track and report on all Distributor marketing expenses, providing visibility on spending by distributor, cost
type, and product line.
Work in close relation with the accounting team to make sure all approved invoices are booked into Business
Central and are matched with the correct purchase orders.
Develop a good understanding of the various pricing models used for Tommy customers, as well as
Distributor Price Structures.
Become key user for new Distributor expenses portal, Prokuria, acting as point of contact for all new user set
up and queries.
Assist the Finance Analyst with the company purchase order tool, Prokuria, setting up new users, monitoring
the support inbox, completing the monthly reconciliation between Prokuria and Business Central POs raised,
plus any further ad hoc queries.
Support the finance team with any further ad hoc requests.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Must Have:
High attention to detail and accuracy in their work
Good communication skills, both written & verbal, as they will be dealing with multiple nationalities
Some form of qualification in business or a numeric discipline
Confident IT user – Strong Excel skills
Multitasking and open to additional responsibilities
Proactivity and problem-solving attitude
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and exercise judgement
Ability to work to strict deadlines and processes
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Paperless organization
Nice to have:
Fragrance/cosmetics business experience
Business Central, IBM planning analytics experience
Luxury sector and/or production experience is a plus
