FUNCTIONS

Our client is a leading multinational company in the seafood sector, a top global provider of high quality products and one of the most relevant players within its sector. The company is subject to high environmental standards and has a strong focus on product development. We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer to lead the commercial and marketing areas at an international scale. Reporting directly to the President, your main functions as a CCO will be: - Leading a team of International Sales Area Managers based in Spain and abroad, and the Marketing & Global Services Team. You will need to structure and motivate the sales&marketing team to guide them to excellence and success by setting targets to each team member, providing mentoring and guidance and acting as a source of inspiration for them, always aiming at a common target. - Generating a collaborative attitude between Sales, Production and Packing/Logistics departments, ensuring that product quality and customer satisfaction are at the centre of the daily work, and information is constantly shared and nurtured. - Setting the company’s Commercial strategy, in accordance with the strategic plan. Is responsible for establishing the Pricing policies, setting and delivering objectives, and to measure and report those periodically. - Identifying growth opportunities and sets plans to materialize them. Seeks for diversification both in market reach and product supply. - Leading the company to innovation in products, formats, processes, distribution channels & commercial policies, and is the driver for the Marketing strategy. Requirements: - Over 15 years of experience in sales & marketing in fresh (perishable) products: fish, meat, fruits/vegetable, dairy, frozen products, etc. - Experience in negotiation with global Retail accounts. - Experience in managing big sales&marketing teams. - Fluent English & Spanish is mandatory. Other languages will be highly valued: French, German, Italian. Personal skills: - Strong leadership skills, outstanding people management and delegation capacity - Exceptional communication and negotiating skills - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask - Positive, creative and results-driven.
