Very exciting opportunity for an International Retail & Operations Director for a multinational company leader within fashion industry distributing products on different channels: Concessions, Retail, Franchise.( 18.000 points of sales)

Functions

  • Co-develop and align Operations & Sales Strategy and Targets for Concessions Group wide. Harmonizing international operations standards. Ensure Strategy execution and Targets achievement through the full network.
  • Manage all dimensions enabling best in class service and partners satisfaction: talent management of the service & sales force, partner management, service quality standards and Operations & Sales projects-process-tools management, coordination and interfaces with Value Chain, Partner Management and Support Functions (HR|FICO | PMO).
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operations & Sales Strategy:
  • Co-develop with the Board the Strategy, Operative Planning & Targets for Europe & North Americas
  • Ensure alignment and consistency with Value Chain and Key Account Management across international borders
  • Ensure translation into Operations & Sales Operative Planning & Road Map
  • Operations & Sales Management in cooperation with Value Chain, Key Account Management and Support Functions (HR/FICO):
  • Ensure Operations & Sales Strategy execution through all network
  • Ensure Road Map steering to achieve Operations & Sales targets, analyse of results and definition/execution of corrective plans
  • Ensure further development of proper reporting tools and KPIs to monitor execution and results through all network
  • Talent Management in cooperation with HR: ( team of 2000 pax)
  • Recruit and induct new team members
  • Conduct mid-term manpower planning
  • Manage, coach and review team members
  • Identify training needs and conduct/arrange training programs
  • Ensure HR procedures and internal regulations are followed
  • Ensure corporate values are lived
  • Partner Management in cooperation with Key Account Management:
  • Ensure Business Partners satisfaction and retention through best in class service and field cooperation
  • Strategically manage expansion and Acquisition of new Business Partners
  • Support Market Intelligence
  • Initiate and implement new levels of business activities
  • Processes & Interfaces Management through the Operations & Sales Support Office:
  • Define and monitor company service quality standards in coordination with KAM&VC
  • Define and monitor Operations and Sales projects, process and tools enabling the achievement of service quality standards through all network
  • Ensure permanent optimisation through regular field audit and innovative actions
  • Ensure coordination between Value Chain, Partner Management and Operations
  • Co-develop and steer with the Board the Project Portfolio for Europe & North Americas
  • Contribute to strategic projects development and implementation supporting Group PMO
  • Co-steer and define the group wide digitalisation initiative

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
  • Degree in Business
  • Intense and significant experience in Retail & Operations management executive role in Retail/Distribution/Service
  • International people management
  • An international/Multicultural environment
  • Strong knowledge of fast-moving business (i.e Fashion, Beauty, Fast Food or Hospitality industry)
  • Competencies & Requirements:

  • Professional communication and negotiation skills in English (any other language is a plus)
